IU Health Attack on Obesity across Indiana
IU Health’s mission of service reaches far beyond the walls of our hospitals to serve the needs of our communities. As a part of that mission, IU Health is committed to tackling the alarming rise of obesity across the state, and particularly among our youth.
Our statewide Day of Community Service is a large-scale employee volunteer effort aimed at leaving behind meaningful community assets reflective our mission and our community outreach priorities. Together with KaBOOM! and local school systems across the state, IU Health employees will work together to improve Hoosier children’s access to play areas and fresh, nutritious foods through school gardens.
